It's opening day! For Cubs fans everywhere, hope springs eternal until we become mathematically eliminated. It's a bittersweet day without Ron Santo. I nearly cried when Jason brought home our Cubs schedules and it said "Remembering Ron Santo" on the front. But, we're nothing if not resilient, we Cubs fans. And besides, it's hard not to get excited about baseball with this little Cubs fan running around.
